I’ve put together some of my most frequently asked questions to help make your experience as easy as possible. Whether you’re choosing a personalised mug or some business cards, you’ll find helpful information about personalisation, orders, delivery and more below. What is your policy on returns, refunds, or damaged personalised items?2026-09-12T22:34:11+00:00

Due to the bespoke nature of printed items, I am unable to accept returns unless faulty or damaged. If this is the case please let me know within 48 hours of delivery and send a photo of the fault/damage. I can then either organise a replacement or refund.

Can I order a personalised item as a gift and have it sent directly to the recipient?2026-09-03T14:27:01+00:00

Yes, just use the recipients address when ordering. If it a bespoke item, let me know prior to printing and I will organise delivery.

What happens if I make a mistake with my personalisation details?2026-09-03T14:25:06+00:00

If you are providing your own design/details please make sure everything is correct, as I cannot accept responsibility for any mistakes by you, after approval.

Once bought, I receive the order and start on it straight away. The timescale is generally around 7-10 days, but can vary due to factors such as Bank Holidays etc.

Can I see a preview of my design before placing my order?2026-09-03T14:20:04+00:00

All designs listed for sale in the online shop have at least one preview, so you can see what it looks like. If you are requesting something not listed, I will provide a preview for you to approve, prior to print.

How do I personalise my mug, clock, coaster, or bag?2026-09-03T14:18:10+00:00

There is a massive choice of designs, slogans and images in my online shop. If you wanted a certain choice not listed, please ask & I will do my best to provide it.

What is web hosting, and do I need it?2026-09-03T14:13:50+00:00

Web hosting is the service that allows your website to be accessible on the internet. It’s essentially renting space on a server to store your website files. It is always recomended to take advantage of my affordable hosting/design packages as I am able to address any issues without relying on any third party to act. Even if you have an existing site I can still save you money by taking over the hosting.

You do. Once the project is complete and fully paid for, you have full ownership of the design, source code, and all content. Some companies retain ownership and charge a release fee – I do not.

Do I need to provide the website content (text and images)?2026-09-03T14:10:01+00:00

Usually, yes. You are the expert on your business/topic, and providing content ensures accuracy and authenticity.

What happens if I want changes after the site is launched?2026-09-03T14:08:43+00:00

Any changes are worked out on a ‘per hour’ basis, and will always be quoted before commencement of any work. If you have your site hosted with me I will address core updates and maintenance as part of the package.

Yes, absolutely. All the websites I design are built using a responsive design approach as best I can, ensuring they look great and function as perfect as possible on all devices, including desktops, laptops, tablets, and smartphones.

Website costs are highly variable, depending on complexity, size (number of pages), functionality (e.g., e-commerce, custom features), and design complexity. I provide custom quotes after an initial consultation to fully understand your specific requirements and goals.

What is the difference between CMYK and RGB colour modes?2026-09-03T13:34:13+00:00

CMYK (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, Key/Black) is the colour model used for professional printing. RGB (Red, Green, Blue) is used for digital screens (websites, monitors). Your print-ready files will be in CMYK mode.

What is ‘bleed’ and why is it so important?2026-09-03T13:39:42+00:00

Bleed is the extra area of your design that extends beyond the trim edge of your finished printed piece. It’s important because it ensures that when the paper is cut, the ink runs right to the edge without any unwanted white borders. I typically require 3mm of bleed on all edges.

Absolutely. I offer full graphic design services, from concept development to final artwork. If you have an idea, I can bring it to life and prepare it for the best print outcome.

Yes, for all projects, I send you a digital proof (PDF) for you to approve. Once approved I can then send to print.

How long will it take to get my print?2026-09-03T13:57:50+00:00

Turnaround time varies depending on the product, quantity, material, and finishing requirements. Simple digital print jobs (like business cards) can be as fast as 3-5 working days, while complex or large-volume jobs (like banners) may take 5-10 working days or more. I’ll provide a specific timeline with your quote if required, and keep you up to date on delivery times. These times are from when you approve your proof print, not from when I start the job.

What file format should I provide, if supplying my own?2026-09-03T14:00:52+00:00

A high-resolution PDF (300dpi minimum) with all fonts embedded and 3mm bleed is the standard and preferred format. Also, keep all images and text at least 3 to 5mm away from the edge.

Can you download a logo from my website?2026-09-03T14:02:29+00:00

I strongly advise against using a website logo for print. Logos for the web are usually low-resolution RGB files (e.g., .JPG, .PNG). For high-quality print, I need a vector file that is resolution-independent and scalable without loss of quality.
